The Trouble with Twins
by Kathryn Siebel
Kids' Book of the Week , August 15, 2016
A mother narrates a tale to her young daughter of twin sisters named Arabella and Henrietta Osgood. From birth, Arabella has always been more beautiful and bubbly than her serious and quiet sister. Despite their differences, and the fact that their parents favor Arabella to an extreme, the twins are best friends, at least until the day that Henrietta pulls a stunt that gets her sent away. Unexpected adventures and a comedy of errors ensue as the twins attempt to reunite. Kathryn Siebel's hilarious storytelling had me hooked immediately, and the captivating and whimsical illustrations by Júlia Sardà were icing on the cake. But why exactly is a mother telling her daughter this story? Read and find out! (Ages 8 to 12)
