Ten Ways to Hear Snow

Our weekend-long Seattle snowfest is already fading into memory, but you can evoke snow's wondrous sensory transformations with this lovely celebration of the sounds—Ploompf! Thwomp!—of winter, which also manages to expertly weave in a story of cultural tradition and family aging into its catchy premise (helped by the quiet paintings of Kenard Pak, who, I realize, was the illustrator of last month's Phinney by Post Kids pick too).
