Prizmism

by Joseph Park

New Book of the Week , April 27, 2015

Some of you may know Joe Park: he's a neighbor, a friend, and a thrillingly talented painter, whose work is in the collections of the Seattle and Tacoma art museums. The thumbnail to the left doesn't do justice to his beautiful and unsettlingly delicate work—which looks sometimes as if it might shatter if you touched it—but this big new book does, lovingly printed by the new Seattle art publisher, Minor Matters. We're delighted to have copies on display: come page through them yourself. —Tom New Book of the Week
