Patience

"It's okay. I know everything." In talking about a crazy time-travel tale like this one, why not start with the last words spoken, which made me want to turn back to the beginning and start the trip again, now that I too knew everything. To see Daniel Clowes working at the top of his game is a thrill of its own; will Patience, his big new graphic novel about love, death, messy revenge, and sketchy technology, hold up as well to as many re-reads over the years as Ghost World and David Boring have for me? I guess we'll have to zap ahead to 2026 and find out.
