Here We Are: Notes for Living on Planet Earth
by Oliver Jeffers
Kids' Book of the Week , December 4, 2017
Oliver Jeffers has written and drawn many picture books and illustrated others, including the colossally popular The Day the Crayons Quit, but his new one feels special: a welcome message written to introduce his own baby to the world. It's funny and odd, both hopeful and a little melancholy, and full of the sort of wonder that will remind a grownup reading the book of just what we have (as long as we can keep it). (Age 0 and up)
