As much as I have loved the reverential treatment Fantagraphics has given to the 25-volume Complete Peanuts series they've nearly completed, there's no better way to put the greatness of good ol' Charlie Brown into little hands than these more modest new reprints, which recreate the old paperbacks I once read into shreds. My own kids have loved Peanuts as much as I did, and these pocket-sized collections make a perfect (stocking-stuffer?) introduction to the real, original thing (as the horror of the 3D-ized Peanuts Movie approaches). (5 and up)
