Chicken Butt

I'll be honest: as a book, Chicken Butt might not hold its own on the picture-book shelf next to the emotional depths of Sendak or the sophisticated wit of Ada Twist, Scientist. It is, after all, just a very long and silly joke. But in the voice of our storyteller Steph Luckerath, it approaches greatness. If you haven't heard "CHICKEN BUTT" yelled twelve times in a row at rapid top volume, you really haven't lived. I recommend trying it, full-throated, yourself: it's guaranteed to cure what ails you, and any toddler nearby is sure to be overcome with belly laughs. (1 and up)
