Big Bad Breakfast

I have been to Currance's Big Bad Breakfast in Oxford, Miss., though, thanks to a tip from my savvy foodie friend Brad (see above), while making a pilgrimage to William Faulkner's Rowan Oak estate (and to nearby Square Books). Our family was spending half a summer driving up and down the East from Mississippi to Montreal, and our breakfast here was our favorite meal of the entire journey, including the "With Signs Following" sandwich (pictured in Laura's hand to the left; the recipe's on p. 167). This is the cookbook I'm most likely to cook from this year.
