Hear ye, hear ye! If you loved Victoria Jamieson's Rollergirl, her second middle-grade graphic novel, All's Faire in Middle School, will not disappoint. Like Rollergirl, All's Faire features a relatable protagonist, a positive message, and lots of fun along the way. Eleven-year-old Imogene's family has worked at the Florida Renaissance Faire ever since she can remember. This year, not only has she begun her training as a squire in her dad's jousting show, but she's starting school for the first time ever. Navigating middle school while balancing her quirky Renaissance faire family becomes increasingly difficult and Imogene has to learn some hard lessons before she can sort out her faire life and her school life. (Ages 9 to 12)
